Great bike with a lot of potential but...

The Philodo Falcon is an e-bike that manages to blend power, style, and fun into one package. After putting some good miles on it, I can confidently say this bike has a lot going for it — even if there are a few things that could use improvement.

Pros

60v of Power – The Falcon has plenty of low-end torque, and the dual-motor setup makes climbing hills or taking off on rough terrain a breeze. You really feel that extra punch compared to other bikes in its class.

Head-Turner – Simply put, this bike looks fantastic. Everywhere I ride it, people stop to ask questions or give compliments. It’s sleek, aggressive, and has a real presence on the road.

Respectable Range – I’ve consistently seen about 50 miles when cruising at around 18mph, which is more than enough for most rides.

Added Security – The fact that it comes with a key is a nice touch. It gives you a little extra peace of mind when leaving it parked.

Pure Fun Factor – Above all, the Falcon is just a joy to ride. It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out.

Cons

Slow Start – This is hands down my biggest gripe. The takeoff feels sluggish compared to the power it has on tap. I really wish this was tuned differently.

Comfort Issues – The stock seat isn’t very comfortable for longer rides. Swapping it out is probably a must for most riders.

Low Handlebars – Out of the box, the handlebars sit too low for my liking. I had to add an extension and BMX bars to get it to where it felt right.

Lower Top Speed Than Advertised – While the Falcon feels strong on the low end, the top speed falls short of what’s marketed. It’s not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing.

Missing Features – No turn signals, which would’ve been a welcome addition.

Weak Brakes – The hydraulic brakes are serviceable, but definitely not the strongest I’ve seen in this price range. An upgrade here would go a long way.

Final Thoughts

Despite its shortcomings, I really enjoy the Philodo Falcon. The dual motors and 60v setup give it a unique edge, and once I made a few adjustments, it’s been a solid and fun bike to ride. I do wish Philodo offered a dual-battery option for extended range, and that they’d address the slow start issue in future versions.

That said, the Falcon has proven itself to be a stylish, powerful, and exciting e-bike that continues to turn heads every time I take it out. For riders looking for a bold and fun electric bike, this one definitely delivers.

I love the bike, but it does have some issues.

Great bike

The bike is fantasic and the ride is incredibly capable off road. The power in the dual motor mode is crazy. It hill climbs better than an actual dirtbike. I took it up a 60 degree incline and it had no problem moving me up (6’3”-255lbs)The review would be 5 stars but the customer service for a part that broke has not been very helpful in getting back to me. I just need to know which part to order

Rear motor went out after about 40 miles

Rear motor went out after about 40 miles. Rear wheel came loose and had to search for the nuts and washers to put it back on. All of the bolts and nuts need to be installed with blue locktite. I can say Philodo was not hard to get in touch with. And they have shipped a new replacement rear motor. I am hoping it’s an easy fix that will last a long time. I love the bike. The dual battery is awesome and the bike is very sturdy. I got over 30 miles on mountain trails with over half of the battery life left. Front suspension is nice to have the adjustable shocks.

Absolutely love my new Falcon ST

Absolutely love my new Falcon ST. I live in West Virginia and we got mountains/hills everywhere. This thing eats them up. Plenty of power for the steepest of hills. No problems at all! Be very careful in dual mode because this beast will jump out from under you! Only thing I’ve upgraded is the pedals and waiting on a new seat post to try another seat. So much fun having the extra zip when you need it and extremely happy with my purchase. Great customer service so far. Ask for a military discount 🇺🇸

Ebike

It has lots of power and the fat tires can go no sand and climb hills. It can go around 40 +or- depending on the road and the battery will last 60-80 miles a charge without pedal assist, and God only knows the distance using it! I love it!

Forester electric bike

This bike is exactly what I needed and it’s everything it says it is, very pleased

best bang for your buck

After going back and forth between different e-bikes, I finally found one that fits my needs: the 60V dual motor Philodo Falcon.

It’s powerful yet easy to control, and the full suspension makes every ride smooth and comfortable. The brakes are excellent — they’ve saved me more than once — and the fat tires add even more stopping power, giving me a real sense of safety on the road.

I wanted an e-bike that could comfortably cruise at 30 mph, and this one delivers that and more. Without adjusting any settings, I’ve already hit a top speed of 40 mph.

What really stands out, though, is the customer service. The Philodo team is always responsive, helpful, and willing to support you however they can.

For $1,600, this is easily one of the best bikes you can get — if not the best.

Big, Powerful, Solid Bike

I’ve had this bike for a month and so far I am very happy with it. It has plenty of power and blurs the line between an ebike and an electric motorcycle. I got it assembled in less than an hour. It was missing a couple of screws for attaching the front fender so I contacted Philodo and they sent me the screws fairly quickly - got them in a little over a week. I just rode it without the front fender intil they arrived - no biggie.

When I say it’s big, I’m 5’10” and have to lean it over 45 degrees to mount it (I got the step over model), but once on it it feels good and easy to control. I added a drop seatpost to mine as a personal preference for getting on and off easier. Riding position is slightly forward but comfortable for me. I love the power of this bike. I live in a hilly area and ride mostly in rear motor only mode at a mid to high pedal assist level to maximize my range and to actually pedal the bike for exercise. I get all the riding time I want on a single charge, and usually end my ride with a dual motor assault up the very steep hill to my house. The bike accelerates up the hill! In dual motor mode pedaling is just freewheeling - it feels like a motorcycle. The dual suspension handles bumps very well. The big saddle is comfortable on long rides. Handling on roads and trails is very good and the bike is easy to control. Brakes are good. Stopping from high speed requires a fairly hard squeeze of both brake handles but will bring it to a controlled stop in a reasonably short distance. Build quality is quite good. Parts and components are good quality. Bright headlight, taillight, and brake light. Rear cargo rack is included and is solid. I went ahead and bought a second battery so I always have one ready. Charging time seems to be shorter than stated in the specs - usually fully charges in 5 - 6 hours. This is a bike that I look forward to riding every evening when I get home from work. It is heavy, and that along with its power reminds me of an enduro motorcycle I used to ride . Acceleration from a dead stop is gradual at first but once moving comes on fairly strong. This is likely a safety feature to ensure a controlled takeoff, otherwise it might throw the rider off. Acceleration from a rolling start however is full on and the rider needs to hang on. Top end for me (dual motor mode) has been 41 mph - I am currently 212 lbs. The Philodo Falcon is a very good value for the price - impressively big, fast and fun.

Bike was slightly damaged in shipping lower front forks didn't interfere with operation. The rack was almost impossible to mount. Was not constructed correctly after bending was able to mount but without the tools and mechanical knowledge I can see this as a big problem. Rear suspension not adjustable and to stiff.
Mind you, I own an H8 that I really like so this bike has some proving to do.

Falcon Review

The Philodo Falcon is my first ebike. Assembly was no problem. I had read about problems with the rack over the rear fender being very hard to install. On my Falcon this was a non issue. Bolted right up no problem. The bike has performed flawlessly. Only issue I had was the kickstand letting the bike lean WAY over to far. Did not realize it was adjustable so after making adjustments it is fine now. This thing has power which is the reason I purchased a Falcon as I live in a very steep hilly area. I have had many comments saying they liked the Orange color. I would buy this bike again and I have referred it to my neighbor who is considering getting into ebikes.
